Laser
is a very powerful equipment which can remove the tissue with
the help of light rays.We may require to remove or adjust
surface areas or we may have to go deep and remove or cut
soft to hard structures such as prostrate, stone or bone.

Laser
surgery reduces stay in the Hospital, it is painless and there is
no bleeding during the surgery. A patient can therefore resume his
normal routine work within a very short period after the surgery.
Ours was the first Institute to have Opthalmic (Eye) LASER in India.
The
institute also has a Nd cum Yag/Holmium Laser. The Surgical Laser
is being used for the following purposes :-
(a) Urology, Narrowing of lumien, stone,
prostrate etc.
(b) Orthopaedic and Arthoscopy
(c) Gynaecology - Inner lining and
tumors can be removed without operation.
(d) General Surgery - Like piles, tissues
and almost any surgery requires cutting without bleeding.
